Wildfire Pepper Gel

Wildfire Pepper Gel is a type of oleoresin capsicum spray, more commonly referred to as pepper spray or oc spray that is specially formulated in a sticky pepper spray gel instead of a regular liquid spray. It has the same 18% oc concentration like the other Wildfire pepper spray products and is available in 2, 4 and 9 ounce containers.

This pepper spray formulation has four main advantages over a traditional oc spray. First off, this capsicum spray sticks to the face of an attacker and is harder to wipe away. Once you get this stuff in the face of an attacker, there is a much greater chance of success in stopping an aggressor dead in his tracks. The second advantage is that the effects can be longer lasting with the pepper gel over plain pepper spray because it takes longer for it to get out of someone’s system. This could be better in windy conditions making it less likely for the heavier spray to blow back in your own face when pointing it at your target. The only real disadvantage to Wildfire pepper gel versus traditional Wildfire oc spray is the price. This is also true of other brands of pepper gel as well.
